A Refreshing Change
I was sold a bill of goods when I signed up for my website through website pros (now web.com). They promised me I could add a store, a blog, and unlimited content — sure, for a huge price.
What I got was a fancy template website with flash I didn’t ask for nor want, limited capability to expand, no ability to add pages, extra charges for every change (like eliminating flash, which I never wanted in the first place, costs $300).
You do all of this for free, do it better, and make it easy! If I don’t know how to do something, there’s either a video, or you’ll have a video created just for me.
Customer service was hit and miss. They promised my website would be ready in 7 – 10 days and it took over a month. You transferred my site and had it running in less than 3 days, customized my design with my logo, and helped me make all the changes I wanted.
Working with you and Bonnie has been such a refreshing change. You’ve been nothing but upfront, honest and have delivered everything you promised. You went above and beyond the call of duty to allow me to keep my ranking. I’ve been updating my content regularly and I finally have my blog, my store and really user friendly website! Thanks so much!!!

It’s so funny that I sound like a testimonial but I just can’t help it! Over the summer I had reached my lowest patient volume in 3 years (even after having my second baby!!) and was feeling a little scared that if the trend continued my practice wouldn’t survive. After I read your book it gave me a lot of clarity on the aspects of marketing that I was doing really well like patient education and relationship building.
However, despite helping many people I never once asked a patient to give me a referral. I didn’t realize that just simply setting the expectation that I get a lot of referrals and asking for them now and again would double or triple my word of mouth referrals.
Another thing that changed especially since I’ve been using your website service is when I see one member of the family within the month the whole family is coming in to see me (well, maybe except for the Dad). Since November I’ve had 6 new pediatric patients! Now that’s incredible because pediatric acupuncture is an even harder sell than regular acupuncture, but I think word is spreading in the community and my website is a large part of that!
Another area I’ve been working on is, quoting you now, is fixing my very leaky canteen! I wasn’t following up or doing much marketing to keep the patients I had. I think fixing those two areas helped dramatically. I’m sending out cards, I have aweber and I’m trying to send out a message at least once a month. I’m doing follow up calls too.
The icing on top is the website. I’ve got a sweet situation here in Morgan Hill. I’m the only one in town with a website and I’m getting 2 – 4 new patients a month from my website. Most of my prospective patients read through my website and book their first appointment online. Its so cool to check my e-mail and see I’ve got a new patient scheduled. I e-mail them the welcome package and they’re good to go.

I Had My Best Week Ever!
Hi Burton,
Things are going very well! In fact, I had my best week ever in the history of my practice! I’m actually glad its slowed down a little this week so I can catch my breath and get caught up! I’m sharing my secret with all my acupuncture friends (Never Market Again) too! Wishing you a week full of abundance!
